The Vacuum Bag Filler

Vacuum bag filling was originated by Modern Machine Shop 60 years ago and has been the industry leader by which all vacuum bagging is measured. The accomplishments in the field of vacuum packaging go back to the pre-World War II era when can, box, drum, and explosive filling were extensively used for military applications. These processes have been modified and refined through the years and we now can supply a full line of vacuum filling services:

  • Kraft bags
  • Poly bags
  • Tyvek bags
  • Boxes
  • Fiber & metal drums
  • Bulk bags
  • Special shape containers
  • Densifying

Also available are material supply hoppers, transfer units, screeners, and special application engineering.

    Standard Vacuum Pump Assembly

We supply a vacuum pump and motor which are mounted on a steel frame complete with guards. A water solenoid valve, flow control valve, 2" check valve and in-line water separator are also provided. The vacuum tank is built in to the bagging machine, close to the filling chamber, which provides quick reaction times and excellent control to the filling sequences.
